by Wake Me Up Before You Jo-Ho insomething just dawned on me today as i processed my assimilation into the real world (thanks to our new poster, @jester, giving me a major throwback to my first post).. when you're a jehovah's witness, you really are in some sort of la la land.
things which are perfectly normal are acts of eating from the table of the demons.
things which are horribly grotesque and extremely unjust are branded as "righteousness".

@sillygirlforgotpassword Some ex Witnesses suggest that the Governing Body are a bunch of bumbling idiots. I actually think they know exactly what they're doing. The amount of of calculated articles which follow a known pattern for effective propaganda is staggering.

I think the sinister undertone of being a cult can be traced back to Rutherford's ascension to presidency.
@Jrjw We all felt stupid - I hear you. But out of eight million people, YOU woke up. I'd say that takes a mighty amount of perception and awareness on your part. Quite a long way you've come from the docile, unquestioning drone you were originally conditioned to be by the organization. Power to you.
